On March 13, 2026, the prominent Australian Chinese‑language media The Great Ocean Times and its website Australia News published, in both Chinese and English across four full pages, a preface written by renowned scholar Professor Wang Liqun for the reprinted edition of the cultural book series Listening to the Flowing Spring on the Lofty Song. The article, titled “How Can You Belittle the World Without Climbing the Lofty Peak?”, was carefully translated by Professor Ding Lan from the School of Foreign Languages of Henan University, with a total of over 15,000 Chinese and English characters. The series, published by Henan University Press, takes the UNESCO World Heritage “Dengfeng Historic Monuments” as its core thread and comprehensively examines the historical origins, spiritual essence, and contemporary value of Songshan culture from multidisciplinary perspectives including philosophy, law, and literature. The preface has generated enthusiastic responses among overseas readers, many of whom have expressed a desire to visit the Central Plains and experience the charm of the Dengfeng Historic Monuments World Heritage site in person.
